Sabrina Hill Black
Sabrina Hill-Black is an educational leader with over 30 years of professional experience as a teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and principal. Her career reflects a sustained commitment to inclusive educational practices and to the shared responsibility of school communities, professional staff, and stakeholders in advancing student learning and well-being.
Ms. Hill-Black earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Secondary Education from North Carolina Central University and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Gardner-Webb University. Her professional career includes more than two decades with New Hanover County Schools, during which she held multiple leadership roles and contributed to district-level initiatives focused on instructional improvement and enhanced student learning experiences. She also played a key leadership role in the opening and administration of a public K–8 laboratory school under the auspices of the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
Sabrina has co-authored scholarly and practitioner-oriented articles in publications such as ASCD Express and the Journal of Cases in Educational Leadership. Her ongoing work emphasizes experiential learning, university–school partnerships, and community-engaged educational practices.
As a member of this educational consulting hub, she looks forward to contributing to collective inquiry, leadership, and innovation aimed at transforming educational systems through collaboration and equity.
