Dr. Krista C. Holland
Dr. Krista C. Holland is an accomplished educational leader and team member of the Brunswick Education Consortium, bringing more than 30 years of experience in public education. Her career includes roles as a Professional Learning Scholar at NC State University’s Friday Institute, Pre-K Director, Principal, Assistant Principal, District Leader, and English/Language Arts Consultant for the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
Dr. Holland holds a Doctor of Education from High Point University, where her research focused on teacher resilience and the impact of the Community Resiliency Model® on educator well-being. She is a certified Community Resiliency Model® Facilitator with expertise in strategic planning, grant writing, program evaluation, and school improvement. A former New Hanover County Schools Principal of the Year, Dr. Holland has presented at state and national conferences, including ASCD, ISTE, and FETC, and is recognized for her ability to build strong school cultures, develop community partnerships, and lead initiatives that improve outcomes for all students.
