Dionne Sturdivant

With over twenty-five years of experience in public education, including eleven years of which have been instructional coaching and school administration, Dionne Sturdivant is committed to transforming lives and shaping brighter futures for all students. She currently serves as the Executive Director of Pre-K and Elementary Education in South Carolina.

Ms Sturdivant began her education journey at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and earned a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical University. She holds a Leadership and Supervision Certification from West Georgia State University and completed Harvard Graduate School of Education for 2025 Women in K-12 Education Leadership Institute. 

With extensive experience in teaching, leadership and school turnaround across North Carolina, Maryland and Georgia, Dionne is dedicated to ensuring children from underserved communities achieve college and career readiness.
